k-28 Tender Markers

Gang,
I need to know where the markers were hung on the K's, particularly the K-28's. In the past, I've assumed that the small brackets on most of the tender ladders were used for rear markers when necessary. Perhaps incorrectly?
A K-28 model I just got in also has what appears to be marker brackets on each, upper corner of the tender shell, along with electrical conduit and, I'm guessing, plug covers for power service to the markers.
So.. any help appreciated. Thanx, Gary
