End of Weed Burner Operations

When did the weed burner make its last trip for the Rio Grande. The decribtions of trains having traction problems in the final few years makes me wonder if weeds were not attened to during the final years. Ernie Robart list of train movements shows nothing for the final two years. I know enviormental concerns were issues during this time.
