For the next few weeks, Locomotive # 340 at Knott's GT&C RR will be in the shop being "retired" :> This is an interesting project and only happens once in 10 to 15 years of steady operation. The maintenance crew has promised to photo-document the procedure. The #41 was done a few years ago. George B.
