I'm referring to the meeting of the the Colorado based D&RG, and the Utah based D&RGW in the spring of 1883 ( yes, back when it was ALL narowguage). The only scource I have seems to state that the rails were joined on March 30, 1883 at the Colorado Utah state line, west of Grand Junction. Is that true? and can anyone say if there was a cerimony, or has there ever been a photo published ?
