I was in Alamosa to visit with my great uncle the other day and he showed me the new issue of Classic Trains. There is an artical in there about the last Rio Grande freight over cumbres to Durango in which #481 was towed dead. The artical didn't even metion that Carl Jack was the engineer or for that matter that he was even there. We laughed at it as I saw the the underlining of areas that are wrong.
I have to say in a postitive thought that the pictures were really good. This only comes to show that the press or some one who doesn't look in to the facts shouldn't be writing articals! Boy It really get me steam when credit doesn't go to the ones that should get. More on this a little later.
