Join the NGDF members at TSRR March 1, 2013

In conjunction with the return of Russo from his invasion of the eastern provinces, he has decided to stop off in the land of Texas on the weekend of March 2, which happens to coincide with the opening of the Texas State railroad!

Accordingly, several of the NGDF group has decided to come together to show Russ what Texas hospitality is really like.

On saturday, March 2, we will have seats in the cafe observation car and the use of its observation platform on the regular departure from Palestine to Rusk and return, powered by T&P #316 both ways! Shop tour of the Palestine shop and examination of T&P #610 are included on Saturday.

Sunday there will be a shop tour of the Rusk shop, and the opportunity to either photograph both trains on the railroad or ride from Rusk to Mewshaw behind #300 and switch trains to return to Rusk behind #316.
