Hi,

I just watched the opening of the 1962 version of The Music Man with Robert Preston and Shirley Jones. Even after many years, I love the singing at the beginning in time to the speed of the train.

Several shots of the stack and boiler front show the Number 92. However, when they are slowing to stop at River City, they show a short clip of an outside frame locomotive's running gear in motion.

I feel very sure that this is one of the D&RGW mikes. Does anyone know if this is true?
