The Brinkerhoff Brothers, Jack and Paul, were responsible for dismantling many miles of the Rio Grande narrow gauge lines back in the early '50's. Apparently, thet kept two Geese on hand into the late '60's with the plan to use them to dismantle the C&TS if it didn't work out. Whatever became of the brothers and their company?
