Performance issues...

We've been looking into our periodic performance problems and have some ideas, although because of the sporadic nature of our problems it's a little difficult to pin things down completely. But to try to get a grip on it we'll be fiddling with some of our settings over the next few days looking to see if anything helps. For now we've changed the default setting on how a given thread is displayed. Previously our default was to display everything threaded. For now we'll try displaying them flat. If you really want to keep the threaded display you can change your display settings by going to "My Control Center" under the main page, then to Options: Forum Settings then change "Thread override - Read" from "Default" to "View Threaded". We'll see if that helps.
