Goose For Sale

Well...it's "kind of" a Goose. Goose #8 is for sale at an antique store in Cortez, CO. I went to visit my daughter in Pagosa Springs last week and on our way back to AZ, stopped to take this picture of #8.



For those of you that don't know about this gem....yes, it's a fake. It's built to run on pavement for parades.

While in Pagosa I also stopped to see the Gomez Store, which used to be at Gato. The museam where it is located is about a mile from my daughters home. We never realized it was that close



We naturally went to Chama to view the last train of the season. We looked for Roger and Russo.....but they were out playing with trains.
