To scrap or not to scrap

At the Sundown & Southern auction, D&RGW stock car #5616 was sold, the purchaser wanting only the trucks and brake beams. By virtue of the fact that no one else wanted the rest of the car, I now find myself as its proud owner.
So, here is the question; What to do with it?!? (The car is complete, minus of course its trucks, but needs an end sill replaced, a new roof and major structural work) I see two options, one keep it and try and find trucks (probably impossible as someone was willing to buy a whole car for only its trucks) or scrap it out and use the parts to fix other cars. D&RGW caboose 04990 in Boulder and D&RGW outfit car 04953 would be the primary recipients of the parts and both would become operational cars as a result. 5616's body would remain mostly intact and could still be placed on trucks afterword, but it would be stripped bare.
So, what does everyone think?
