If you are wondering what rain might show up during July and August, here are a few numbers from the past.
My Dad had two hobbies, one playing golf and the other watching the weather. one year He was given a rain gauge, log book, in-door/out-door thermometer and in-door/outdoor barometer. He recorded each month the rain or snow fall (melted down into water). The amounts were recorded in 1/100 inches as rain fall.
Below are listed the amounts from Gallup, NM.
I'm listing some twenty (20) various years, thus 1962 shows a very dry year compared to 1992 which was a wet one. June on average was a dry month, while August was the better one.
