Tenders and their parts

Forgive my ignorance, just trying to learn. What holds the tender tanks on the underframes they are mounted on? Their weight alone? I have read of tender tank stays which would seem to be metal braces that hold the tanks down but have not been able to locate any in photos. Where are these tank stays?
Also, are oil bunkers bolted/welded in or do they just use their weight to hold them in? Do tank stays get used here as well?
