D&S Cancels Trips to Silverton

Just heard on the Durango radio station that the D&SNG is cancelling service to Silverton, effective immediately, in light of the fire situation in the area. They plan to run two trips a day between Durango and Hermosa, and they intend to use their diesel locomotive to run to the high line. They are also looking at using the railbus out of Silverton to Elk Park. They estimate that regular service to Silverton will return by July 4.
