East Broad Top Railroad Charter

Fellow Railfans:
Nevin Byers and Lance Myers have organized a coal train charter on the East
Broad Top Railroad for the fall of the 2002 operating season. The East
Broad Top is in dire need of funds to continue operations into 2003. This
is your chance to lend a helping hand to the oldest, most complete, and most
authentic narrow gauge railroad in North America. Details are below.
On October 21, 2002, East Broad Top locomotive #15 in common carier livery
will pull three authentic trains consisting of hoppers with combination car
#15 at the rear plus a boxcar on the last two trains.
SCHEDULE
8:00 am - Locomotive backs out of roundhouse
9:00 am - First train leaves Rockhill
11:00 am - Second train leaves Rockhill
12:30 pm - Lunch break
1:30 pm - Third train leaves Rockhill
3:30 pm - Third train returns - Photograph the equipment being put away
ADDITIONAL NOTES
- Lunch will be provided free of charge.
- Cost of one ticket is $275 in cash, money order, or bank certified check
payable to Lance Myers, RD1 - - - Box 93, Huntingdon, PA 16652.
- Make prior arangements if paying in cash on the day of the charter.
- Money orders and certified checks must be post marked no later than
October 1, 2002.
- The deadline for refunds is also October 1, 2002.
