Hi,
Looking thru my DRGW books at loco photos (getting ready to do a little model painting), I've noticed some tenders seem to have a California "rake," with the forward end slightly down. So... I was wondering if there would be a reason to have one end lower than another, i.e. which end has the water connections? or if this is just a function of something else like soft springs, coal load. A few other photos show the rear of the tender slightly lower, but most have the tender level or lower in the front.
Thanx, Gary
