May 28 was avery busy in the last years of the NG, partly because of the RMRRC trips that traditionally ran Memorial Day Weekend.
5/28/52 (Durango Call)
Durango Switcher - 453, engineer O. House, fireman Howe, conductor P. Murray, brakemen Greathouse & Cummins. Call time 730am
Train 461 Silverton Mixed - 463 engineer Buchanan, fireman Degani, conductor Lyons, brakemen Henry & Gibbs. Call Time 900am.

Extra East - 494 engineer Madorin, fireman Jack.
Helper - 499 engineer E. Morgan, fireman Otteson. Call time 1130am.
499 and crew returned to Chama to lay over and be used to help the RMRRC trip tomorrow.
5/28/62
Arboles Turn - 491 engineer Connor, fireman Headrick. Call time 830am.
This one stumped the Caller. Maybe they were doing something with the new line being built around the sight of Navajo Reservoir.

Extra West - 492 engineer Shock, fireman Headrick. Call time 800am.
Cumbres Turn 1 - 498 engineer Holt, fireman Hawkins. 484 engineer Sisemore, fireman Otteson. Call time 930am.
Cumbres Turn 2 - same engines and crews as Turn 1. Call time 200pm.

Extra East - 484 engineer Holt, fireman S. Smith. Call time 1200 noon,
Helper - 480 engineer Otteson, fireman Cunningham. Call time 1230pm.
480 and crew returned to Chama to help the RMRRC trip on 5/31. What the crew did for 2 days I don't know (go fishing?)
