howdy folks, while there is little of rr and mine stuff left of silverton line there is one scenery item still exsisting today. drive down from the top of red mt. pass toward silverton. as you look at the mts. in front of you you will see the image of the bear with something in its paw on the side of bear mountain. did not see it first time out but finally saw the bear on a trip in the 90's. mothernature at its finest. markc
