If they succeed to operate the D&RG #169 that is being rebuilt at Alamosa they should double check the Crank Pins:
Per ICC Annual Reports on Accidents:
March 23, 1917: D&RG #169 Near Cumbres, left main crank pin failed due to flaw in pin. 1 Killed.
April 11, 1916: D&RG #167 near Ridgway, right main crank pin broke. 1 Injury. PRR
