A copy of the DVD arrived yesterday afternoon so naturally I sat down and watched it.
I enjoyed the movie and there is considerable footage of the train in Chama and at various points along the line. I thought it rather clever how Chama's main street was hidden from the camera's view by the placement of a string of box cars.
The movie was copyright 1975 and it looks like the train sequences were filmed before the season opened for the year. Can someone fill me in as to when filming occurred?
