Dead Japense on the D&RG

Just ot back from a long camp in the desert, following the old narrow gauge rail bed between Grand Junction and Thompson Utah. Does any one have any information about the dead Japense cook, his gold, or any other info about Sagers siding? It was always a good story untill this weekend when we actually found his grave, now the metal detectors are in full use.
Also what is the definition of Gandy Dancer ( two Mexican Gandy Dancres supposedly were the ones that killed him).
