Goose #5 and driving wheels.

In looking over Galloping Goose #5 and the number of wheels actually driving the machine, it appears that there are only 4 wheels (2 axles) with power going to them. Probably with dry rails, this would be adequate for traction, but with wet rails, does #5 have a tendency to slip a bit, especially going up Cumbres, for example? I believe various members here have sat behind the wheel of #5, most notably Earl. Thanks for any comments.
