Sumpter Valley Bridge terminology

I have a set of plans for the Sumpter Valley Railway. On it, just west of Whitney, between stations 2310+03 and 2310+67 there is the designation of "64'- O.D. Bridge Frame". I can figure out for myself what the 64' stands for but what exactly is an "O.D. Bridge Frame"? Of course it is a bridge(over the North Fork of the Burnt River), but what kind of bridge and what does it look like? Does anyone have a photo of this or could they describe it for me?
