Little known photo spot *PIC*

Last night I was looking at the stuff we did on the 93 charter in May, and there is a really cool 10 minutes or so of the 487 switching at the west end of Lobato siding, then 488 passes the train light.
This location is something for you locals to go after, but it has to be in May or Early June. Right at the west switch is a nice little pond on the west side of the tracks and some nice reflections can be made in the afternoon. Like the more visible Lake Lobato near the Highway, this little pond quickly dries up after the snow melting season in June. Of course each year is different. It is amazing how the C&TS looks different at various times of the year, and different lighting conditions. This spot requires a little hike though. Greg's tip of the day!
Since Rich is now president of the Earl Knoob Fan Club, I will have to also say that the freight stuff at Lobato was Earl's idea. Credit where credit is due. You can now deposit that credit in the bank of your choice!
