I was scanning more of my old FES negatives today and the bridge in this image intrigued me. It appears to be fashioned from (old?) rail welded together. It sure looks like a LOT of welding. I've never seen a bridge like this before, I wonder if it was very common. Circa 1975. Would be a great modeling project. I mentioned it in an earlier post, but the last series of IRCA consols (the 110 is ex-IRCA) were wonderfully proportioned machines.
