SN Track Update 10-4

Track work on the 315/SN track work in Silverton progressed at a slower rate during September and into the first weekend of October. Rail is complete from the D&S to the SN engine house, with just the switch stand for the stub switch to be installed, and ballast work. First to go in the engine house will be the Casey Jones, then the 315 will take up the rest of the track in the first stall. Pit work has commenced on the right hand stall and hopefully that will be finished before snow flies to move the SN caboose in out of the weather. The weather for September was great--beautiful warm days and spectacular fall colors--a real treat. The pictures are on my flickr site at:
