Today at Knott's

September 07, 2010 04:34PM avatar
Today marks the first day Of Goose operation, and the beginning of another off season. And it sure feels like the end of Summer. Its overcast, and a bit drizzly. As one employee said "it's like someone turned off Summer".

Also the labor day weekend was a good one for the railroad(and the rest of the park) with many fully loaded trains. As well as many guest's admiring 340 and her shiny green boiler jacket, and asking questions. People are always amazed that she was built in 1881.

Here are some shots of the Goose out flapping around the track.

Passing the Durango as she arrives in the depot.

Here she is crossing bridge 5/8-A.

And on her way off the bridge and around the curve.
