The late Ron Harr who left most of his estate to SVRR had traded or purchased large numbers of photos from other well known railroad photographers and collectors. The caption on the back of this shot, says that it was taken at the Colorado Railroad Museum 9/29/62 and came to Ron from John Maxwell. Ron actually had a lot of Colorado narrow gauge related photos from John Maxwell. The car was formerly a DRG coach #4, built in 1871 or 72, rebuilt in 1888 as business car K, then as "B8" in 1913, going to Uintah Ry. in 1927. Today, it is restored at the Colorado Railroad Museum. It is considered the oldest surviving narrow gauge passenger car in the country.
