I recently received a press release from the Associated Press stating as follows:
"It could cost around $2 million to repair a railroad trestle that burned on the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad line that runs for 64 miles between New Mexico and Colorado"... "The $2 million estimate comes from a preliminary report on a test to see how much weight the trestle could support given the damage from the June fire"...."The railroad commission expects a final report Friday"..."The Lobato trestle is insured for up to $360,000 with a $50,000 deductible, meaning officials will need about $1.7 million more for repairs".
The above is only highlights from the release; however it does come across a bit negative in regards to where the railroad will come up with the additional money.
I truly hope it all turns out well and can use moral support from all of us.
