Hats off to the Durango and Silverton and Tall Timber

A great Railfest. High point of the event was the Presidential Train on Sunday. Tuscan red cars pulled by a K-28 with the Silver Vista in the consist. Stopping at Tall Timber their staff lined up at trackside dressed in chef's garb, standing at parade rest, then handing out a gourmet brunch. Lots of quality photo runs. Prime rib dinner in Silverton. James Bond's favorite champagne, vintage 2002, served in crystal flutes by kerosene lamp light. ( Tall Timber provided the libations) The D&S car attendants waited on us hand & foot.
