Went to the show today (Friday) and had a good time. They had the usual speeches and stuff and a staged parade with a pretty good band. They were running the 41 (the 340 is in the shop sans rods) pulling four yellow and two green cars. A Golden Spike ceremony was staged but the crowd control was such that it was not possible to get a picture from where I stood. However, I found out they drove the spike into the asphalt between the rails at the crossing by the station so I didn't feel so bad I didn't get a picture.
Tomorrow's show includes several modular model railroad setups plus a museum tour and another shop tour. I'll be back.
