Question Along the R.O.W. West of Osier

I was once again spending my lunch hour looking at TerraServer pictures of the C&TS. This page shows the daily train a short distance west of Osier (presumably returning to Chama). This page shows Cascade Trestle (the funny shadow above the track shows the outline distinctly).
On both of these, there is an odd trail between the track and Los Pinos Creek in the bottom. If you follow this toward Osier, it looks like it originates there. Is this possibly the old toll-road that people talk about running from Osier to Chama in the early 1880's?
