- April 6 and 7, 2002 - FEBT Spring Exploration
Guided driving and hiking tour explores the historic dormant portions of the EBT before the brush thickens for the summer. Open to members and non-members.
- June 1, 2001 - EBT opens for the season.
Trains run Saturdays and Sundays at 11:00, 1:00 and 3:00.
- June 1 and 2, 2002 (tentative) - FEBT Open Shop Days
Only time of the year the one of a kind EBT belt-driven shops are open to the public for unguided touring.
- August 12, 2002 (tentative) - Community Appreciation Day
Tickets are reduced price, extra trains run, additional activities.
- October 12 and 13, 2002 - EBT Fall Spectacular / FEBT 20th Annual Reunion
The EBT and RTY run nearly nonstop trains and trolleys all weekend. The FEBT holds forums and trading. This is THE time of year to visit the railroad, but make hotel reservations early.
- October 27, 2002 - EBT closes for the season.
News Updates
The Mount Union Connecting Railroad has purchased a 60 ton Plymouth and hopes to move it to Mount Union before spring. Hopes to be in operations this year.
Railways to Yesterday has completed their track extention but are still finishing their pocket track and terminal facility at Blacklog.
FEBT has had the last truck frame components for EBT combine #16 fabricated.
FEBT has a civil engineer evaluate the EBT Saltillo Station for possible avenues for its preservation.
