Here we are in Chama, NM. in the 1960's. Dick Harrison took this shot of the DRGW narrow gauge engine terminal. #497 will soon be heading up a 4% grade to conquer 10,022' Cumbres Pass. If you look closely through the steam, there is another engine with a snow plow coupled behind #497. #497 and #493 seen to the left in the shot are DRGW K37 class Mikados. In the distance you can see the front of a rotary snow plow, possibly DRGW #OM. The scan is from the SVRR Archive.
