If I were around in the 1930's, this is probably about what my film photography skills would have turned out, in other words a little out of focus. A rare shot none the less, in which we see Oregon Lumber Co. Climax #105 at Bates, Oregon. This engine began its life as #6 for the Hallack & Howard Lumber Co. in New Mexico, coming to the OLC in 1937. The building behind the engine is a bit of a mystery, but I think it may contain a tank with Bunker C fuel for the #7 shay which was converted from wood to oil in 1940.
