Derailment On The White Pass

This image is scanned from a negative that came up for sale on Ebay, which I bought and donated to the SVRR Archive. There was another negative from the same seller that was well listed and went for more than I was willing to fork out that showed the other side of the derailment. This one was kinda buried in the guy's listings and had less to identify it, which was probably why I got it at a reasonable price. We are of course looking at a derailment on the White Pass & Yukon. It seems like someone took "bunch the slack to an extreme". The image was of interest to me because the combine with the cupola is former Sumpter Valley Ry. combine #11.
