Giant reefer blocks on the narrow gauge

Most photographs show one or two reefers together. Here is a dozen or more in June of 1941, headed East (North) towards Alamosa.

Thoughts on what they might be hauling? Apples from Farmington? Onions from Dolores?

I'd love to find a scene of reefers on a team track, trucks backed up loading produce for eastern markets.
