If you’ve ever dreamed of owning a narrow gauge locomotive’s builder’s plate, here’s your best chance. The WW&F Railway Museum is holding a raffle of a reproduction of a 1907 Baldwin builder’s plate to raise funds for the construction of an exact replica of that locomotive. It was WW&F No. 7, a 2-4-4 Forney scrapped in 1933.
The drawing for the plate takes place in just two weeks, on Oct. 9. Tickets are still available for just $11 each. or two for $20. They can be ordered on line at wwfry.org/raffle
Only one plate first prize will be awarded, with second prize a miniature 3-D printer plastic replica of the same Baldwin plate. The winners do not have to be present to win, and we will cheerfully mail the plates to the winners. Please include a mailing address or email address with your purchase.
Thanks for supporting the Build 11 Project.
