NNG: Yosemite Valley 330 now protected by steel shelter

(per 7-30-2021 e-mail from Wes & Claudia Swift, owners and restoration team leaders of Yosemite Valley Railroad observation car #330 (Hicks Locomotive & Car Works, 1907).
"Thought we would send along the monthly "Club Car" featuring the new shed construction to cover the Yosemite Valley Railroad Observation Car #330. A lot of the recipients have touched the 330's future via donations or labor or just good will. Thanks to all, especially from the 330 which is enjoying the current heatwave in the shade.

In the mild central California coastal climate, protection from the sun (and to a lesser extent, from winter rain) not only protects the car from the weather, but also makes the car much easier to work on in the shade.
