On the CT&S today (July 6th 2021)

Got home after running some errands this afternoon and found a friend of mine had left some messages on my home phone. Seems
that the CT&S train he and his wife are riding today ran into a few problems. First was a hot box that delayed the train for about an hour.
Later, when they got up to Windy Point it was pouring rain and the engine kept slipping. According to my friend they reversed
back down to Coxo where part of the train was dropped. After doubling the hill they were able to continue to Osier without any
further problems. They were able to have lunch and Osier while the train was turned. In his last message he said
that they were stopped at Cumbres and was about to start down the grade into Chama.

Update:
Friend called again and said that they arrived in Chama about 2 hours late.
