Have always been fascinated by D&RGW narrow gauge MOW equipment. I wrote the first article on D&RGW OA-0Z in 1972 for the Slim Gauge News and in 1990 did the text for RRobb Volume 7 on OA-OZ. Will probably do a detailed book on the subject in 2022.
History can be presented in several forms...articles, books, video, still photos, etc. One additional way is with scale models. D&RGW C25 number 375 was the power for Ditcher OX work trains in teh 30s on the Chili Line, Cumbres Pass, Silverton and Farmington branches. As there were few photos and no movies as far as I know, I am attempting to show history with my On3 models that were customized for me by two really talented guys...Geoff Ringle and Brian Bass. This is what it might have looked like at Hermosa the year I was born.
