My Previous Post on this Discussion site was created because I recognized a photo of a post card that I purchased from Caboose Hobbies in 1991, when I traveled out to Aurora to visit a few of my relative's. Denver was a nice place to visit in 1991 and I was able to see all the railroad attractions in that area that totally filled my soul with an appreciation for the narrow gauge operations. All but one, one that plagued my mind for a whole year. I have been a long time Rio Grande fan, following it much along the lines of the its operation between Denver to Ogden, Utah with freight and passenger service. But with Utah being a state that didn't have much to do with narrow gauge operations in the last hundred and thirty some odd years. I never got to taste a real narrow gauge meal until I made it a point to stop by Chama New Mexico in 1992. And because of this visit you now get to see some more photo's of why it was a Grande visit that first stay in 1992.
Still a Student,
Dave
