I've lived in Colorado since 1971, and have traveled up the Crystal River Valley and over McClure Pass countless times, but somehow or other I'd never taken the time to go up to the townsite of Crystal, and the Crystal Mill. This summer my wife and I made two trips up there, once in early July and once again in late September for fall colors.
That, of course, triggered an interest in learning more about the multiple railroads which ultimately fed into the Rio Grande at Carbondale, and made me realize how little I knew about the operations up there. I'm aware of Del McCoy's Crystal River Pictorial, and I thought I had a copy tucked away somewhere but can't seem to locate it. Do any of you know of other resources related to the area's RR's?

Thanks in advance,
