493 Work Train

Thought I had seen the last of 493 for this year. But today the D&S used 493 on a work train to take covered cars to winter storage at Tacoma. D&S wanted to use diesel 107 but the new batteries for it have not arrived.

I do not have a drone and cannot climb mountains like Olaf, so these were all shot at track level. Please no comments about McDonald's, that has been beat to death.

Train took 10 covered cars to Tacoma, picked up a car at Tall Timbers and turned on the Cascade Wye. On the return, the oil tank car was picked up at Rockwood; barrels and a propane tank were loaded in the box car. This just about completes the shut down of the temporary faculties at Rockwood.
