June 3, 1968 trip descriptions under each image
478 is northbound from Farmington crossing the Animas River Bridge

478 Northbound from Farmington departs Bondad after taking water.

478 Northbound crossing highway 550, en route to Durango. Train will be left at Carbon Junction, and the 478 will make a caboose hop to the engine terminal in Durango. This would complete the first series of freights from Alamosa-Farmington that started May 28th in Alamosa. Only 4 more freight runs would be made to Farmington before the end of freight operations in 1968(Aug 31st 1968).
