Someone's comment about the continuation of Alco products in Durango made me wonder, did Alco/MLW continue their builder number sequence from the K-28's on into the diesel era? In other words, what are the builders numbers for 473, 476, and 478, and now for the new (!) 101 and 107? Build dates, etc... Just curious how close the new diesels are to the K-28's. And hopefully those Nathan M-5 airhorns will echo through the canyon soon!
