A Ticket to Tomahawk

June 01, 2010 05:33PM
folks,

About a year ago there were a bunch of postings here about the movie that best shows the old scenery and equipment of the D&RGW and now the D&S narrow gauge railrosd.

The consensus was that Tomahawk was the winner; but it was not available either as a DVD or on video tape.

That appears to have changed. I just bought a DVD of the movie for $14.00.

Apparantly there is a wide price range; up to $80.00 because there is an early uncredited scene with Marolyn Monroe in the picture.

I found it by looking on E-Bay under train films. So if you want a good train movie and don't mind watching a not very good melodrama have a look for it!
