I went up to the Nebraska Panhandle recently to help out with my cousin's branding at his ranch, and ended up taking two days to get there, and camped at the KOA in Buena Vista near the Colorado Midland ROW. When I got up the next morning to finish the drive, we stopped at the summit of Trout Creek Pass to get a few photos of the flyover that the Midland had over The South Park.
1. Looking northward at the flyover with The South Park running up and to the right, while the Midland would have crossed over on the bridge here.
2. Looking Downgrade towards Buena Vista.
3. Remnants of stonework on western abutment.
4. Looking westward on the Colorado Midland grade.
