On Tues, Carlos and Robert Franzen guide the left piston into the cylinder, the shiny steel around the piston is the piston ring compressor.
First fire up today. Some guy's old Mustang got in the way...

After getting steam up and testing everything, we took 18 down to the depot for water, then back to the shop for the night.
tomorrow is a test run over the hill to La Veta.
