June 3, 1968. This is the first train of freight for Farmington that was brought to Durango on May 28th(John West Shot that day on slides).

After departing Carbon Junction K28 478 heads south with a train of pipe for farmington. The first location we shot was this overlook crossing a wooden bridge in the valley. Does this place have a location name? This is photo number 478-8

The next location we photographed the same train was another overlook.
These are slide numbers 478-9, and 478-10. Anyone know if this location
has a name?

More to follow.
